AC Shadows Unveils Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The plot features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine cult.
The mission centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Content
This patch also introduces the game's latest free story addition, titled "The Enigma." The series formerly included a 2020 crossover story linking Assassin's Creed: Valhalla with Makoto Yukimura's Vinland Saga.
