He mentioned that he spoke to her family and they were âdeeply grievingâ.
Specialist Beckstrom, 20, was fatally shot in a shooting on last Wednesday in Washington DC.
Her fellow service member, US air force staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, twenty-four years old, continues receiving treatment in grave state.
Gatherings across the state have taken place in their honor.
The commander-in-chief stated heâs talked about a White House visit for the families of both soldiers of the West Virginia Guard.
âI said: âWhen youâre ready, because thatâs a hard experience, arrive at the White House. Weâre going to pay tribute to Sarah,â the president told reporters. âAnd likewise with him, recover or not.â

Funeral plans for Sarah are still being arranged.
